Alright, It's time for video 4. See you on the other side for your action steps!
It's time to practice gaining insights from bird language about how animals are moving through the landscape. This is the thing that will eventually enable you to see the animal in question.
Practice comparing the moment to moment locations of the alarm behavior in order to determine...
1. Is the animal moving or is it stationary? 2. Where could you go in order to see this animal?
Then what you have to do is BE PERSISTENT. It can take a while to spot your first animal this way, but as you get more used to positioning & tracking alarms in space and time eventually you will be successful.
As you get more experience with how to position your body & eyes in order to a) avoid detection and b) get a good looking spot, you'll be amazed by how easy it actually is to get a good clear look at the animals that are sneaking around.
Go play with this and stay tuned for the next(and final) video. - Brian
