All people (Including YOU!) have this built-in capacity to read deeply into our our environment and have relationships with the land, but in these modern times it almost never gets developed.
With the fast pace of society we’ve almost lost all the traditional ways that knowledge and wisdom of nature gets passed down through mentoring to the next generation.
So the question becomes how?
How do you get back the WILD skills and awareness?
Especially when you might be completely alone, and your friends and family might not understand why you're so passionate about being outside.
Who can you turn to with questions? How do YOU build YOUR wilderness knowledge and instincts?
The BIGGEST Secret To Sparking Your Natural Discovery
I was in my late teens when I first made the decision that I wanted to develop my nature connection skills.
I grew up with only very basic connection to the outdoors. My family enjoyed camping and hiking...
But I didn’t know anything about plants, birds, or trees.
I didn't even know it was possible to gain knowledge of what's happening beyond the surface of natural ecology.
Even more than that...
I felt that I was vastly underutilizing the true potential of my mind and brain.
My personal life was showing me the shocking truth that I didn't know how to use the most basic human skill that all people should have... Awareness!
So I started seeking out information about how to use my senses and make better observations of nature. I read books, field guides, audio programs. I watched videos and started getting outside to observe my environment.
I was ready to feel the excitement and aliveness of having wild adventures outside without being so dependant on special gear, or maps... and instead be led by my own developed instincts and deep knowledge of the land.
But there were still so many blocks. I had so many questions that I just couldn't seem to answer. And I felt incredibly alone because I didn't have a learning community.
Here's How I Was Able To Learn 10X Faster With A Community
Have you ever experienced the incredible potential for discovery that comes from a group of like-minded people who are all working towards the same goal?
Sometimes the best way to get past a block is so simple… but you'll never see it yourself because it's outside your awareness.
I knew that if I could just start talking with other people who were also working towards the same goals as myself...
Then it would enable us to share our knowledge of the land, make observations as a group and ask questions that expand everyone's perspective.
The result is that we all learn so much faster!
Finding a community of nature people was the single most important step on my nature awareness journey.
To this day I still have weekly routines to connect with my nature friends on Skype, email or phone, and the results are always amazing.
I completely transformed my outside experience… And now I’d like to help you do the same!

What Will We Learn Together?
First we’ll start with the Essential Skills of Deep Nature Connection.
These are the core activities you can do in any environment to start opening your sensory radar to the world of plants, trees, birds and wildlife.
We’ll practice layering together a variety of basic nature awareness and observation routines so you can get tuned with the simplest activities that bring the deepest and fastest results, including techniques for being more mindful and present to what’s happening outside.
Next, we’ll go deep into Learning Your Landscape Deeply.
We’ll look at how to build a detailed three dimensional nature map inside your mind so you can gain deeper insights about how nature works as an interconnected ecosystem.
This will help you find deeper relationships between plants, birds, and animals that are completely invisible to most people who go outside.
This skill-set also depends heavily on Identification Mastery, which are specific techniques for building impeccable confidence about how to identify plants, trees, birds, etc.
We’ll focus on the Art and Science of Solving Natural Mysteries.
These are the observation and investigation frameworks that help you tackle tough naturalist questions relating to bird language, tracking, wild edible foraging, and more.
These tools will enable you to go very deep into the areas of nature study you choose to focus on...
...And also forms a solid foundation for mentoring others so you can effectively guide your own students, friends, and family into deeper relationships with nature.
From there, we’ll talk about the Power of Sensory Articulation… The magic that happens when you translate your nature experiences into human language.
There are 3 ways to practice Vivid Sensory Storytelling that will dramatically accelerate your ability to perceive keystone events happening in the world of plants, birds and animals… and harness the unique insight of a community learning environment.
Weeks 5 And Beyond:
Finally, once we’ve got our earth brains really juiced up… I’m going to use the actual experiences, questions, and specific challenge areas of the group to create more lessons and resources that add to our bundle of teachings.
This program is alive and growing… and you get to play an active role in helping me create the perfect nature mentoring community as we build upon our foundations and continue going deeper :-)
These core lessons are a blueprint that applies to all nature skills from foraging wild edibles to tracking local deer populations, bird language and even being a more skilled mentor of survival and awareness.
You might also find there are specific areas of skill that are going to resonate with you and stand out as the BIG opportunity for you specifically… so we’ll be able to spend more time on those with you.
These next few months I’ll be working closely with a small group and I’m really looking to work with a handful of people who can try out the exercises & activities and then report back on the results.
Then we’ll use YOUR stories, questions and experiences as the springboard for harvesting deeper lessons, and insights going deeper every week.
I’m ready to get started right away and I’m inviting YOU to join us.
Here's How It Will Work:
Each week, we’ll focus on one of the nature skills topics. Then, we’ll get together as a group to unpack and debrief your experiences outside.
This is your chance to ask questions and share your insights so we can brainstorm some next steps and ways to help you reach the next level.
I really want to help you take some big steps with the specific skills you’re excited to explore, so I’ll be spending one on one time with you to make sure we maximize your results.
The more you implement, the more I’ll work with you.
